Welcome Back

Well we have all survived term 1 - some of us more so than others! My apologies for the unforeseen circumstances that had me take time off twice this term. I thank you all for your kindness and understanding.

NAPLAN
Naplan is coming up on Tuesday 12th - Thursday 14th May for year 3s.
It can be a daunting time for both children and parents. If you or your child have any concerns or questions please feel free to discuss them with me. The following link has an information brochure for parents. http://www.nap.edu.au/verve/_resources/NAPLAN_2014_Information_for_parents_brochure_web.pdf

COME OUT FESTIVAL
The Come out Festival is coming up soon. We are going to see The 26 Storey Tree House on Friday 22nd May and also going to the Carnival of the Animals on Tuesday 26th May. Thank you to the parents who have volunteered to come with us. If you weren't able to come with us this time, there are other excursions coming up this term, next term and in term 4.

GLUE
Thank you to all those parents who sent tissues and glue in at the beginning of the year. We are already very low on glue in class. Therefore I ask if you can send another 2 glue sticks into class. This time, glue will be labelled with your child's name and kept for their own personal use in their tote tray. It will be your child's responsibility to let you know when they need more glue (I will remind them to let you know).
