We walked up the road which was quite a feat for some of us due to the temperature (36 degrees) Then had our fruit break when we arrived. After this we walked around the Ashby Homestead which is now offices. Once we walked though there we walked through the beautiful gardens. Then, an easy walk back down the hill to school. We had a great trip out and it was a great way to see first hand some of the history of our local area.
