Week 7 Update

Class Parent
I am pleased to announce that Tracey Rankin is our class parent. She will be in touch with you.

Friday
On Friday, I will be off class busy writing reports. Kate Stirling will be on the class following the program I have left for her. Don't forget it is Casual/PJ day. I hope to see you all in your PJs (parents included)

Notes
A number of notes and permission slips have been coming home. Please ensure your child has their communication book with them on a daily basis. If they have it with them I can put these notes in their book for safe keeping. Otherwise, I hand them out and hope they make their way home in the child's bag! Notes that need to come back are
- expression of interest for camp
- swimming note, medical slip and money
- drama excursion note and money

Drama Excursion (Next Week)
A note should have gone home with your child yesterday about an excursion to Flinder's University next week. We need 3 parents to come with us. Please let me know if you are able to help out.

Sharing about Pets
In the last 2 full weeks of term we will have the opportunity to share about our pets. This will be from 15th - 26th. If your child wishes to share their pet with the class, please let me know to arrange a time (either 8.45-9am or 3-3:15pm) and day (this does not have to be on their sharing day). For the animal's welfare, it is important the pet does not stay at school without adult supervision. If you are unable to bring a pet to school, perhaps your child would like to bring a photo of a drawing of their pet instead - Please do not feel pressured.
