Our current unit of inquiry is about making choices to help support the sustainability of our world.
We have been working in groups to make posters of a natural resource. The natural resources we have been looking at are:
- Minerals
- Oils
- Trees
- Plants
- Animals
- Natural Gas
- Water
- Air
- Sun
We have been learning research skills, looking up information in books
and on the internet, the importance of putting things in our own words
and poster presentation skills. It has been a really fun and valuable
learning experience for all of us.

This unit of inquiry into natural resources has triggered an awareness in all family members to turn off the light when you are the last person to leave the room - very handy for saving natural resources and money :) From Keith's family
